The Landscape Architecture Program is pleased to announce that fourth-year BLA student Sam Snyder received this year’s Virginia American Society of Landscape Architects Chapter ‘Scholarship for Excellence in the Study of Landscape Architecture’ Award, which recognizes service to the school, community and academic achievement in the study of Landscape Architecture. Each year, the Virginia Chapter recognizes one student from each of the state’s two accredited landscape architectural programs — Virginia Tech and the University of Virginia — based on the recommendations of the faculty.
