Parker Sanders

After growing up in north Georgia, Parker pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of Montana and later earned a Master's in Counselor Education from Radford University. He spent several years in mental health before discovering his true passion for advising in 2018. Now in his third year at Virginia Tech, Parker is a passionate advocate for student success. Outside of work, he enjoys a diverse set of hobbies, from Star Trek marathons to kayaking adventures. He shares a small hobby farm with his wife and kids, raising rabbits and looking after six dogs, with plans to welcome even more animals in the future. Parker believes in creating a nonjudgmental space for students.
